Accounts Receivable

Accounting Principals is currently seeking Accounts Receivable Specialist with 5+ years of similar or related experience for a full-time job with an established organization in Newport Beach. This is a contract-to-hire.


  • Maintain collections on portfolio
  • Negotiate and resolve collections over 60+ days past due
  • Respond to customer billing inquiries regarding account balance, aging invoices, billing discrepancies, processing credit/debit memos, account holds and monitoring aging reports
  • Resolve account issues to maintain strong customer relationships and arrive at a mutually agreed beneficial solution for the customer, sales team, and company
  • Handle monthly collection strategies, complex account reconciliations, and dispute claims
  • Process and post customer payments (eChecks, credit card, and lockbox)
  • Ensure timelines and accuracy of cash postings
  • Reduce credit lines to eliminate all bad debt expenses
  • Identify problem accounts and notifying Finance and Sales Management of situations that could indicate uncorrectable claims or possible bankruptcy
  • Process all required business transactions with accuracy in all relevant systems (NetSuite, Monarch, SoluPay, CashPro, Cash Applications)
  • Resolve disputed claims
  • Communicate clearly and positively with Customers to build and maintain customer loyalty
  • Assist in training when necessary
  • Compensation:

    $20 - $24 per hour
