The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing the manpower and vacation scheduling for plant-wide maintenance covering approximately 500 hourly employees.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and communicate manpower for plant-wide maintenance employees.
• Resolve Workbrain issues that the first step in the help chain is unable to solve.
• Resolve system issues for maintenance vacation and scheduling.
• Process time-off requests.
• Update employee shift or area change requests.
• Coach maintenance employees/salary employees as needed with maintenance systems, processes, and contractual requirements.
• Manage plant-wide contracting-out requests.
• Manage maintenance employee allocation spreadsheet.
• Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
• Running overtime for the department.
• Ordering supplies.
Qualifications - External
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional experience scheduling and/or coordinating large amounts of information/details
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Union environment experience - frequent interaction with union employees

 

$30 per hour
