Accounting Principals is looking to hire a Acquisition Accountant  in St. Paul, MN.  This contract requires an individual who can reach far beyond with great analytical capabilities, interpersonal skills, and an excellent detail-oriented mentality.  Apply now if you meet the qualifications!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in integration accounting
  • Assist in testing of HFM uploads & mapping, create HFM upload mapping file monthly & train acquisition team to perform
  • Handle issues that arise on an ad hoc basis within the integration process
  • Must be a self-starter with project management skills
  • Qualifications:

  • Prior acquisition accounting integration experience
  • Broad experience, including experience with multiple ERP’s
  •  Need a person willing to not just oversee the work but do the work (not just a coach but also a player)
  • Strong project management & self-management skills
  • SOX 404 experience – setting up control environments
  • Solid knowledge base about all areas of accounting/acquisition integration, including tax, (however some
  • experience here is good, does not need to be an expert).
  • Strong accounting background, technical accounting knowledge is key.
  • Needs to be comfortable and confident working across the general ledger.
  •  Dynamics or SAP preferred for ERP experience
  • Hyperion consolidation experience
  • Healthcare experience – specifically knowledge around contractual allowances would be a nice to have
