Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Receivable-Collections Specialist job for the corporate office located in Concord, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience with an emphasis in Collections. This position will manage relationships with the corporate account customers. The responsibilities include reconciling client accounts, corresponding via email and phone, manage and maintain assigned accounts, establishing and maintain client relationships, customer follow-up, reconcile complex accounts, request customer refunds, negotiation of past due balances, receive and process customer payments, reduce delinquent assigned accounts, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications include:

- Strong Accounts Receivable experience

- Excellent customer service and communications skills (verbal & written)

- Solid knowledge of accounting and knowing your debits and credit

- Adaptable and open to change, and meets objectives

- Reliable, energetic, and production driven

- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized

- Strong communications written and verbal comfortable communicating with department managers

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Intermediate sort & filter, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 5 years of Collections experience (Accounts Receivable, Collections Specialist, Credit & Collections)

Compensation: $25.00 – $28.00
