Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist job for the corporate office located in Fremont, CA.  This position is 4 days in-office and 1 day remote. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience. The role will be responsible for monthly invoicing, work in progress billing for projects, collections, requesting proper documents such as insurance, business licenses, applications, lien releases/waivers, processing credit card payments, maintaining AR aging excel spreadsheet to forecast and lower the DSO, maintain and build client relationships, and assist with other projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications include:

- Strong full cycle Accounts Receivable experience (Billing, Collections, Cash Applications)

- Solid knowledge of general accounting knowing your debits and credits

-  Software experience with a medium to large ERP other than Quickbooks

- Industry experience in construction or project driven business

- Team player, able to work independently, patient, and enthusiastic

- Reliable, a can-do positive attitude, and gets the job done

- Detailed, a problem-solver,  and organized

- Strong customer service and communications both written and verbal

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)

- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree would be a plus 

 

Experience: 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience

Compensation: $25.00 – $29.00

Employment Type: Temp to Hire
