Accounting Principals is partnering with a real estate company to hire an individual for a contract Accounts Receivable Specialist position San Diego, CA.   You must have a minimum of one year of experience with accounts receivable.  This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great team and participate in interesting and challenging work!

 

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing accounts receivable accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies and following up with clients regarding past due accounts. 

 

Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive payment via wires, checks, and credit card payments
  • Apply payments to appropriate accounts
  • Balance accounts and prepare daily cash deposits
  • Reconcile various accounts and prepare reports
  • Research billing discrepancies
  • Follow up with clients regarding past due accounts
  • Reconcile trial balance and AR general ledger
  •  

    Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience with accounts receivable
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel
  • Sage or MAS Accounting system experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and analysis skills
  •
