Accounts Receivable Specialist 

 

Accounting Principals is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a client in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional financial, computer, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. It is essential to have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment hitting tight deadlines. Attention to detail and very organized is a must.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Entering new jobs in our accounting system (new job setup, estimate setup, SOV setup and document imaging)
  • Entering and Updating Change Requests and Change Orders when Executed
  • Updating SOV's
  • Draft Monthly Draw Request Entry
  • Utilize electronic standards and certified mail services to deliver invoices
  • Customer Set-ups
  • AR Aging Report
  • Collection calls
  • Issue reminder and final notice statement to dilatory and delinquent
  • Monthly Reporting
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year construction accounting experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Associates degree in accounting or business-related field preferred
  • Flexibility to take on tasks support a function in accounting required
  • Strong technical computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly industry
  • Experience with ERP software
  • Strong relationship development skills – comfortable in a construction type environment
