Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Receivable Associate job for the corporate office located in Richmond, CA.  This position is hybrid and will be in-office 2 to 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience. The role will be responsible for monitoring customer deductions, maintaining accurate postings of customer chargebacks, work with sales to resolve deductions and rebates, reconcile and collect on accounts, issue credit memos, prepare monthly accrual entries, handle the insurance for the business, verify insurance policies are current and renewed timely, manage the insurance audit, reconcile balance sheet account for prepaid insurance, process payroll for 120 employee’s, and assist with other duties as assigned.


Qualifications for the job include:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred  

- Accounts Receivable experience required (Deduction & Chargeback experience preferred)

- Solid Excel skills using pivot tableS and vlookupS

- Software experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision would be a plus

- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credit

- Team player, able to work independently, willing to learn

- Reliable, a can-do attitude, and deadline driven

- Detailed, analytical, and organized

- Solid communications (written & verbal)


Experience: A minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience

Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 DOE
