Accounting Principals is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator for our clients located in Bergen County. This position is open due to growth in their department and their current person being promoted. You will be responsible for three-way match, processing high volume accounts payable invoices weekly and other special projects. This will be a full cycle accounts payable role and is the perfect opportunity for someone to start ASAP. Out client offers a fast paced and fun environment. This is a full time to contract opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:  

  • Perform AP processing, payment generation and reporting activities for specific deadlines
  • Reconcile invoices to ensure that all of the necessary support is attached prior to filing
  • Investigate and resolve any Accounts Payable related irregularities and/or queries
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly during vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile credit card statements to ensure that all the receipts are processed correctly
  • Assist with creating and maintaining all Accounts Payable aging reports


  • At least 2+ years of previous Accounts Payable experience
  • Previous experience with high volume invoicing would be helpful (100+daily)
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
