Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients in the non-profit industry looking to fill an Accounts Payable Specialist job for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA.   You should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable professional.  You will be responsible for monitoring the accounts payable inbox and gain approval for payments, input invoices into Concur system properly coded and applied against active contracts, set up new contracts to be signed via Docusign and set up in the ERP system Intacct, set up new vendors, manage expense reports, mange weekly check runs, and assist with any projects as assigned.


Qualifications for the job include:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance would be preferred

- Software experience with Intacct required

- Software experience with Concur required

- Non-Profit experience a big plus

- Solid overall accounting knowledge understanding your basic debits and credits

- Able to work independently and remotely, but comfortable to return to the office when assigned

- Attention to detail, analytical, and organized

- Reliable, thorough, and dedicated 

- Strong communications (written & verbal)

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Intermediate, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 5 to 10 years of accounting experience and at least 5 as a Property Accountant

Compensation: $26.00 – $30.00
