Accounting Principals has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist with a local non-profit.  In this role you will be responsible for all A/P functions under the supervision of the CFO. The successful candidate will have least 3 years of prior, recent experience.  Pay will start between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Code invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc.
  • Handles all vendor contact and maintain vendor database
  • Prepare purchase order requisitions.
  • Attaches the corresponding purchase orders to incoming invoices with all supporting documentation.
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
  • Assists with monthly status reports, and monthly closings.
  • Other duties as assigned

    Skills/Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of recent A/P-focused experienc
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines
  •   

    Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire 
    Employment Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
