Accounting Principals is partnering with service company to identify an individual for a contract to hire Accounts Payable job in Carlsbad, CA. You must have a minimum of two years of experience processing accounts payable. The company offers good work life balance, strong tenure and benefits!
In this role, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable including obtaining approvals, cutting checks and running various reports.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
Enter invoices, prepare batches for payment and maintain the general ledger
Maintain and track vendor updates and statements, purchase orders, and all receiving documents
Verifies and reconciles use tax
Maintain AP aging report and reconcile any variances
Work with other departments as necessary
Minimum of two years of accounts payable experience
2- or 4-year degree preferred
Experience with Microsoft Excel
