Accounting Principals is partnering with a construction company in El Cajon, CA to hire an individual for a contract to hire Accounts Payable Specialist job. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of two years of accounts payable experience and experience preparing multi-state sales and use tax. In the Accounts Payable role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, preparing and filing multi-state sales and use tax and assisting with other accounting projects.
Accounts Payable Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices
Research and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and file multi-state sales and use taxes
Assist with check runs
Maintain vendor relationships
Assist with other accounting projects
Minimum of two years of previous accounts payable experience
Experience with preparing and filing multi-state sales and use taxes
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
