Accounting Principals is looking for an Accounts Payable specialist to join the team of one of our clients in Boca Raton, FL. The company environment is fast paced, and the AP specialist is responsible for supporting all daily Accounts Payable processes. Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance
Match purchase orders to invoices and enter invoices into computer
2+ years’ experience in accounts payable
Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
Excellent data entry skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
A logical approach to problem solving.
Ability to work independently or as a team member
