Accounts Payable Specialist – Remote

 

Accounting Principals is hiring immediately for an Accounts Payable Specialist who will work fully remote! Our partner client based in Seattle is looking for someone with reliable Accounts Payable skillsets that will take ownership of the entire process from start to finish; which may include coding invoices to the General Ledger, 3-way matching and journal entries. Job Duties:

 

  • Manage communications for the timely payment of invoices
  • Correctly filing all accounts payable invoices
  • Coding all invoices with the appropriate General Ledger account code.
  • Sorting and organizing invoices received via mail and electronically
  • Record electronic wire, debit payments, and credit card payments into the system.
  • Close Accounts Payable module at month-end, balance and submit to the General Ledger
  • Communicate effectively with other AP Specialists and Accounting team
  •  

     

    Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • ERP, Accounting and Cloud based system proficiency- please list software experience on resume.
  • Possesses significant computer skills; experience with Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Has the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  •  

     

    Employment

    Temporary to Hire, full time, 40 hours per week.
