Accounting Principals is looking to fill an Accounts Payable & Payroll Coordinator job opportunity for this company located in Berkeley, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The right candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in full cycle Accounts Payable and a minimum of 1 in payroll. The candidate will report to the Controller and manage the Accounts Payable day to day full cycle AP processing dealing with 50 or more invoices weekly, resolve and research any customer inquiry which is done by email and phone, and handle the weekly payroll process of 100 to 120 employees, including payroll reconciliations, and assist on any projects in the accounting department. 

 

Responsibilities include:

- Prepare and process weekly payments of 50 invoices

- Review and audit AP and make sure all documentation and company processes are followed

- Handle any vendor correspondence

- Uploading credit card transactions

- Process payroll of 100 + employee’s

- Payroll reconciliations

- Assist with the month-end close

 

Qualifications for the job include:

- Experience with full cycle Accounts Payable required and payroll experience a plus

- Quick learner, coachable, and a team player

- Software experience with Concur or Bill.com would be a plus

- Attention to detail, quick to catch on, and organized

- Strong communications (written & verbal)  

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new software programs

- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree would be a plus

 

Experience: 3 years of Accounts Payable experience and 1 year of Payroll experience

Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00

Employment Type: Temp to Hire (3 to 4 months as a temporary associate)
