Our client, a manufacturing company based in Downtown Los Angeles, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Manager on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing an accounts payable department and will have prior experience working with Oracle.
Key Responsibilities:
Review a large volume of invoices to ensure daily accuracy
Support and oversee expense reimbursement and inventory invoice processing
Monitor credit cards payments to ensure they are paid on time
Oversee department and prioritize on a daily basis
Review a large volume of invoice postings
Ensure expense reports are paid on time
Answer questions and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable
Obtain proper supporting documentation, general ledger coding and approvals for all companies
Analyze current process in place; suggest and/or implement new processes
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of manufacturing is a plus
Experience managing a staff of three or more
Experience working with Oracle is required
