Accounting Principals is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for a business management firm in Downtown Los Angeles, CA on temporary to hire basis.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review a large volume of invoices to ensure daily accuracy
  • Monitor credit cards payments to ensure they are paid on time
  • Oversee department and prioritize on a daily basis
  • Review a large volume of invoice postings
  • Ensure expense reports are paid on time
  • Interview, hire and train staff
  • Answer questions and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable
  • Obtain proper supporting documentation, general ledger coding and approvals for all companies
  • Analyze current process in place; suggest and/or implement new processes
  • Assist Controller with financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements to ensure accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principals
  • Qualifications:

  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Experience managing a staff of three or more
  • Must be a strong team player
