Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients in the construction industry looking to fill an  Accounts Payable Manager job for the corporate office located in Concord, CA.   You should have at least 5 years of experience managing the entire AP process.  You will be responsible for processing invoices, credit cards, managing the expense report systems (Concur), reconciliation of supplier statements, month-end close journal entries, multi-state sales tax, 1099 processing, assist with job set up, and work on any additional projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications for the job should include:

- Comfortable working in office (no remote work)

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field

- Software experience with Sage 300 required and Concur preferred

- Construction industry experience required

- No Direct Reports

- Strong overall general accounting knowledge knowing your debit and credits (General Ledger, AR )

- Team player, positive, with a can-do get it done attitude

- Reliable, thorough, and dedicated 

- Attention to detail, organized, and a problem-solver

- Strong communications (written & verbal)

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)

 

Experience: 5 years of accounting experience handling full cycle Accounts Payable

Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000

Employment Type: Direct Hire
