DIRECT HIRE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER JOB IN GIBSONIA, PA
 
If you are used to working independently in processing a high volume of Accounts Payable, this could be the job for you.  Enjoy your own office and a great Accounting team, while maintaining the company's goal of running efficiently and streamlining processes along the way. The most qualified candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree, previous management experience, and at least 5 years of experience in Accounting and Accounts Payable.  This is a Direct Hire position and offers a competitive salary commensurate to experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable processing
  • 3-way matching
  • Perform month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers
  • Insure all members of the department are replying to all queries in a timely manner
  • Regular reporting and analysis to key senior managers in the business
  • Track and process expense reports
  • 1099s
  • Reviewing and working within compliance of Government Contracts
  • Analysis of Vendor credit and payment history
  • Assist with projections and other projects as needed
  • Investigate discrepancies and follow up where needed to resolve
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • 5+ years of Accounting and Accounts Payable experience (Managerial experience ideal)
  • Experience with Government contracts a bonus
  • Ability to improve systems and efficiency where able
  • Meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • ERP Software experience required (MAS product ideal) and Intermediate Excel skills
