Accounts Payable Coordinator

We have a current opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator for a client of ours in North Royalton, Ohio. They are looking for an experience Accounts Payable professional with 3 years of experience to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile and process invoices and statements
  • Process monthly credit card payments
  • Courses all vouchers for payment. Pairs invoices to purchase orders and delivery tickets, codes General Ledger account number for each voucher, data entry into A/P system
  • Ensure assigned processes are effective, efficient, and properly documented
  • Mail checks
  • Exchange openings and the distribution of departmental mail
  • Assist on any other special projects
  • Handle incoming vendor questions
  • Support in monthly closings and accruals
  • Fill in as an assistant when needed
  • Organize tickets and check for material delivery
  • Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Ability to clearly explain information to vendors
  • Great attention to detail, organized, and efficient
  • Skill to meet deadlines and accomplish work goals
  • Hours: Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Flexible Schedule)

    Compensation: $17 to $22 an hour (depending on experience)

    Employment Type:  Contract to hire
