Accounting Principals is looking to fill an Accounts Payable Coordinator job opportunity for this well-established company located in San Francisco, CA. The right candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable. The position will be responsible for verifying and completing accounts payable transactions, resolving AP discrepancies with vendors maintaining and building on the business relationships, and working on additional duties and assigned.    


Responsibilities include:

- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports

- Obtain appropriate approvals, enter details, code, and prepare AP disbursements

- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies

- Maintain purchase order log and reconcile

- Maintain company credit card charges and reconcile

- Assist with AR Billing

- Assist with annual 1099 administration

- Assist with projects as assigned



- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required

- Strong with Accounts Payable

- Solid knowledge of accounting and knowing your general accounting debits and credits (GAAP)

- Software experience with Deltek would be preferred

- Able to work independently, take initiative, and be self-motivated

- Attention to detail, problem-solver, analytical, and strong time management skills

- Excellent communications (written & verbal)  

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 1 year of Accounting experience (Accounts Payable, Accounting Assistant/Clerk, Junior Accountant)

Compensation: $55,000 – $60,000
