Accounting Principals is looking for a candidate with experience for an Accounts Payable, role in Kalamazoo, MI. This individual must have the knowledge capacity to accurately process payments, make corrections, and edit and create batches. Having strong communication skills is needed as the role involves making phone calls and communicating with other members of their team.
Responsibilities:
Create AP payments
Ensure timeliness and accuracy
Work with data from all the departments
Ensure quality customer service
Review work done by others if edits need to be made
Experience:
Previous roles involving accounting and processing
Ability to use Microsoft Office
Experience with a 10 key touch calculator
Education:
Degree required
Previous experience related to this industry
Skills:
Detail-oriented
Good communication skills
Work well individually, as well as in a team setting
Ability to prioritize different tasks when necessary
Having time management skills
Working well under high pressure situations
