Accounts Payable Clerk
A large company in the Bellevue, WA area is partnering with Accounting Principals to identify an entry level accounting professional for their team. They need this individual to match and code invoices, audit vendor statements, and update vendor information. Since training is provided and these tasks are entry level, a recent college graduate who has limited to no accounting experience will be considered. You will be utilizing Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, so you should be proficient with those tools. In addition, you will be working on a team, so collaboration and good communication skills are necessary for success. Free parking is offered. You will have the option to work earlier hours if that is better for your commute. Plus, this is a temporary to hire role in a company the promotes internal growth and career development.
Matching and coding accounts payable invoices
Responding to vendor inquiries
Researching invoice and vendor information
Updating vendor accounts and coordinating with various teams
Additional tasks as needed
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
At least three months of professional work experience would be helpful
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
