Accounts Payable Clerk

A company in the north Seattle area is looking for some extra help in their Accounts Payable department for the next four months. You will be handling coding and invoice processing, vendor management, and account reconciliations. The team is open to working with a recent college graduate. However, to be able to jump in with limited training, you must understand basic AP and accounting processes. It’s important that you either have a year of accounting experience or a bachelor’s degree in accounting. You will be trained and will start out with basic processes. As you excel, you will be given more complex tasks. You will be joining a large team and will need to be comfortable collaborating with others, but also working independently. Free parking is provided, but this position will be partly remote work.


  • Coding and processing invoices
  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy before payment
  • Responding to vendor inquiries
  • Ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner
  • Ad-hoc projects
  • Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting processes
  • At least a year of professional work experience is desired
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively without supervision

  • Full-time hours
  • 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Pay

  • $18/hr to $20/hr, depending on experience
