Our client, a distribution company located in Vernon CA., is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk on a full time basis. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for processing payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will have a year of accounts payable experience, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Job Duties:
Process payments to all vendors
Match PO’s to invoices for payment
Notify vendors of discrepancies
Work on weekly disbursement report
Post advertisement deductions to vendors
Mail checks
Reconcile accounts i.e. petty cash, credit card receipts, vendors

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting position or finance;
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Good Interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive problem solving, decision-making capabilities and practical approach
Strong analytical skills
Organized, detail oriented, deadline driven
Positive attitude
