Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Payable Clerk job for the corporate office located in Richmond, CA.  This position is 100 percent in-office! The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Accounts Payable experience. The role will be responsible for matching, coding, and posting invoices and purchase orders, assist with the weekly check run, reconcile accounts against vendor statements, maintain and build on vendor relationships, 1099’s, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications for the job include:

- Solid Accounts Payable experience (coding, 1099’s, wires, etc...)

- Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credit and general accounting

- Software experience with Great Plains would be a preferred

- Team player, able to work independently, patient, and enthusiastic

- Reliable, a can-do positive attitude, and gets the job done

- Detailed, a problem-solver,  and organized

- Strong customer service and communications both written and verbal

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel – Intermediate, Word & Outlook)

- Associates Degree would be a plus 


Experience: 1 year of Accounts Payable experience (Accounts Payable, Accounting  Assistant/Clerk)

Compensation: $18.00 – $22.00

Employment Type: Temporary (Possible Temp to Perm)
