Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Entry Level Accounts Payable Clerk job opportunity for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate will have some work experience in accounting or an administrative role with general clerical responsibilities. You will be a part of a team responsible for a variety of tasks in the accounts payable department, including scanning, indexing, identifying incorrect coding or missing information and complete accordingly, and assist with any projects as assigned.


Qualifications for the job include:

- 6 months accounting experience (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable , Accounting Clerk/Assistant)

- Software experience with Vista would be a plus but not required

- Construction industry experience would be a plus

- Able to work independently and within a team, and follow directions

- Comfortable working in office

- Motivated, hardworking, and dedicated

- Attention to detail, quick to pick up, and organized

- Solid communications skills

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Intermediate, Word & Outlook)


Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00

Employment Type: Temp to Hire (3 months)
