One of our largest Knoxville clients is looking for an entry level Accounts Payable Clerk with 1 - 2 years of experience. This is a great opportunity to work with a team-oriented and dedicated organization while growing your skill set! This role includes but is not limited to reviewing invoices for accuracy, matching invoices to purchase orders, account reconciliations and general clerical duties as needed. This temp to perm position is paying $14/hour.
Review all invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment
Reconcile vendor statements and respond to all vendor inquiries
Verify and process employee expense reports
Process check requests
Communicate daily with co-workers and management of issues and project statuses
Perform general clerical duties, including filling, scanning, and data entry
Qualification and Experience:
Associates or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
At least 6+ months of AP experience
Ability to maintain the highest level of ethics, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality
Strong ability with computer software, Microsoft Office, Excel and Word is required
Working knowledge of an accounting system is preferred
Good communication skills, written and verbal
