Accounting Principals is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk with high volume experience for a full-time position in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a contract-to-hire role that will focus on accounts payable.
This Accounts Payable Clerk position will code and process all invoices for payment plus verify and reconcile invoices so that vendors are paid in a timely manner. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a high volume, fast paced accounting department.
Coding and processing invoices
Match and verify PO’s to invoice ensuring price accuracy
Communicate with vendors
Issuance and compliance of 1099’s
Background Accounts Payable – high volume
Minimum 2-3 years experience
Good understanding of accounting principles
Great analytical, reasoning and math skills
Excel skills including formulas, creating spreadsheets, and formatting
Able to communicate professionally both oral and written
Able to focus on details
Thrive in a team environment
Minimum 3 years of related experience
Full-time, Temp to Hire
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
