Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accounts Payable will ensure all invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner.  This person is also working closely with Sales Staff/Project Managers in the field for pay application approval and other accounting related matters. They will perform weekly AP runs, and various support to the accounting team. 

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

  • Collects, reviews, and processes monthly project invoices.
  • Needs to ensure all invoices have been coded properly and timely to the correct cost reports and cost codes
  • Support the construction/development Project team with tracking of change order requests
  • Recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to principals and executives
  • Provide weekly status reports for PM’s and management
  • Prepare billings to owners, process all overhead invoices and job invoices throughout the month.
  • Work daily with the vendors and subcontractors on issues ranging from billing and payments to insurance and lien waivers.
  • Maintain project related records, track contracts and change orders
  • Education and Requirements:

  • Accounting or equivalent college degree and/or relevant experience
  • 3+ years of Construction Accounting, Accounts Payable
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High level of communication skills
