  1. Fort, Worth Accounting Principals is hiring for an Accounting/Office Clerk for a long-term contract near downtown Ft. Worth.  Our client is seeking an awesome candidate with one plus years of light accounting and office data entry/clerical experience to come do projects for 2-3 months. Dependable and a team player who is flexible for varied tasks assigned weekly.  If you have basic accounts receivable or payables knowledge, and are ready to commit to the contract, then please keep reading.

Responsibilities could include the following:

  • Entering accounts payable invoices
  • Post cash and checks to customer accounts
  • Process incoming mail daily; Sort, open and Distribute mail
  • Separate checks according to company divisions, make copies  
  • Set up new customer accounts and be responsible for keeping up with the integrity of existing accounts
  • Faxing and/ or emailing requested copies of invoices/credit memo’s and statements to customers upon request
  • Request via Fax/email or phone varied paperwork including credit references
  • Enter and file invoices
  • Perform other related job duties as requested
  • Qualifications:

  • One plus years of accounting knowledge and office experience
  • Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Familiar with general accounting terms and how it relates to the Payables or Accounts Receivable departments
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a changing fast paced environment
  • Fast Accurate 10key by touch at 8000ksph or more is highly desired
