Accounting Specialist

Accounting Principals is working on a temporary to hire position with a small company in the north Bellevue, WA area. Majority of your responsibilities will be accounts payable, but you will also assist with payroll and accounts receivable. Since the team is small, everyone helps out and contributes where needed so you must be a team player. Professional communication will be important in this role because you are following up with vendors, external customers, and internal customers. It is important for the person stepping into this position to have at least five years of previous accounting experience and have a strong understanding of full cycle accounting tasks. You will work on an ERP system so experience on a system other than QuickBooks is required. The team is very family oriented and supportive so you will be set up for success in this role.

Job Duties Include:

  • Coding and processing AP invoices
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Posting payments to the correct accounts
  • Journal entries
  • Processing payroll and auditing time cards
  • Assisting with other tasks in the accounting department
  • Qualifications:

  • At least five years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred
  • Experience on an ERP system, such as SAP or Oracle
  • Professional communication skills
  • Team player and able to get along well with others
  • Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
