Accounting Specialist (TEMPORARILY REMOTE!)

Accounting Principals is partnering with a leading marketing company to fill their open Accounting Specialist job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must possess at least two years of recent, relevant experience in accounting, with a specialization in billing and accounts receivable. You will work REMOTELY using company-provided technology until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $24.50 and $27.50 per hour, depending on your level of previous experience. Once permanent, you will be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
-Creating monthly invoices for customers
-Assisting with collections reconciling customer accounts
-Preparing for audits and assisting auditors with quarterly and annual audits
-Assisting with maintaining the General Ledger
-Processing a high volume of multiline invoices

Qualifications:
-At least two years of recent, relevant experience in accounting
-Specialization in billing and accounts receivable preferred
-Associate’s Degree or higher in Accounting or a relevant field preferred
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including use of VLOOKUPs and pivot tables required
-Previous experience with NetSuite preferred
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent analytical skills
