We’re currently looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in Phoenix AZ! The ideal candidate will have effective, timely, and professional communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to multi-task and set priorities for work flow, the ability to work independently and as an active team member, and an energetic and positive attitude. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who enjoys findings solutions and takes a proactive approach to mitigate errors.
- Monitor and respond to daily inquiries via email and phone conversations regarding payments and general questions in relationship to Accounts Payable
- Perform weekly check runs
- Vouch, allocate and enter overhead invoices daily (approx. 20 per day)
- Provide detail accounting on daily activity and maintaining a daily report which itemizes vendor payables, collections, voided checks etc.
- Respond and write checks for Check requests
- Maintain accurate and organized AP files
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables)
- Communications, Team focused, Organized
- Accounting degree or comparable
- 3 year Accounts Payable experience would be considered
