We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager in Sarasota, FL. This is an organization that is growing rapidly and seeking someone who take initiative. The starting salary for this role is $65,000 annually.
Verifies month end materials inventory and prepares inventory reports for management.
Manages all payroll accounting functions including maintaining employee records, updating employee masters, preparing payroll, etc.
Manages PEO or prepares quarterly and year end payroll tax returns, including w-2’s
Reconciles A/R, A/P, and payroll prior to posting to G/L. Once posting is complete, journal entries are reviewed and reconciled.
Inputs A/R adjustments and reports to management the accounts being adjusted and the amounts.
Prepares month end financial statements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
Proficient in Excel.
Demonstrate competence in leadership and decision making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5+ years’ experience in comparable field or position
