Accounting Principals is assisting a Norfolk, VA General Contractor in its search for an Accounting Manager. In this role, you will work directly with the CFO in handling senior level accounting responsibilities including company financial strategy, general ledger, payroll, job cost, reconciliations, and receivables. You will also manage a payables clerk. This is a full-time, contract to hire position that has a casual and relaxed office environment with a starting salary of $21.64 to $26.44 an hour based on experience.
- 5 plus years of accounting experience in the Building and Construction industry to include payroll, payables, receivables, and General ledger thru Financial Statement preparation
- Job Cost Experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Timberline
