Accounting Principals is currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator for a client of ours in Pittsburgh, PA. The Accounting Coordinator should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the field. This role will be responsible for all areas of accounting including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and full cycle accounting. This is a fast-paced environment with room to grow your skills.

Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on invoices and credits and manage daily cash deposits
  • Process daily payables and receivables transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for assigned accounts
  • Manage purchase orders and intercompany transactions
  • Issue invoices, review receivables batches, and follow up on collections
  • Review accounts and monthly reporting for variances
  • Other accounting duties as necessary and needed
  • Accounting Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance field preferred
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Ability to take initiative and manage deadlines
  • Ensure GAAP and company standards are applied
  • Required proficiency in Excel with knowledge of pivot tables & v-lookups
  • ERP Software experience, SAP preferred
  • High attention to detail
