Accounting Principals is supporting a fast-growing start-up Technology company to fill a contract to hire Accounting Coordinator position. The position will eventually sit in the headquarters office in downtown Manhattan. For now, they are working on a remote basis for the forseeable future.You will be joining a team of 5 and will report directly to the Accounting Manager. Entering accounts payable invoices into the system. Working with vendors to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies.
Running AP and AR aging reports on a weekly basis
Processing incoming payments and applying to accounts
Reconciling corporate credit card statements to ensure spending is in compliance with company policy
Assisting with the set up and update of new vendors
To be able to add immediate value, you will need:
Internship experience in AP or AR is preferred
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related experience
Proficiency in Excel
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
