Our client is looking for an individual for an exciting new contract to hire Accounting Coordinator job opportunity in Chicago, IL. You must have two years of accounting experience. Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize, note, and condense financial data to compile and keep financial records
  • Prepare and distribute invoices
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Reviews invoices to ensure they are properly approved
  • Produce accounts receivable and other basic financial management reports
  • Produce credit cards transactions
  • Communicate with vendors and management regarding invoices, payments and processing
  • Review invoices and answer vendor inquires
  • Review and post all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • General clerical accounting functions


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field highly preferred
  • Two years of accounting experience required
  • Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • Proven ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
