Accounting Principals is hiring an Accounting Clerk with exceptional customer service and organizational skills for a small automotive business in Orange County, CA. It is a 4-6 week project.

Accounting duties and responsibilities:

  • Post vendor payables in Sage software.
  • Update outgoing freight and other control spreadsheets.
  • Communicate with vendors as needed related to invoices.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and enter receipt of goods.
  • Customer Service / General Office duties:

  • Answer phones to take customer orders.
  • Check on availability of product and order processing.
  • Printing labels as needed for shipments.
  • Assist and support management with other duties as required.
  • Skills and abilities required:

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or clerical accounting/bookkeeping experience.
  • General knowledge of computer business software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.
  • Must be well organized and efficient.
  • Ability to multi-task with little supervision.
  • Must have both oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 10 lbs.
