One of our Grand Rapids, MI clients is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to assist with the maintenance of their financial records. This temp position offers an ideal opportunity by providing its’ employees with a friendly and laid-back office environment with an opportunity for growth! The qualified candidate will have accounting and office experience and be extremely punctual.

The Accounting Clerk Job responsibilities include:

  • Matching 150+ invoices weekly
  • Cutting checks
  • Processing employee payroll
  • General ledger account analysis and subsidiary ledger reconciliation (AP and AR)
  • Entering in data in their software system
  • Assisting the Accounting Manager with any accounting responsibilities as needed
  • Helping the Accounting Manager with filing, organizing and getting caught up on the work

    The Accounting Clerk Qualifications include:

  • Ability to maintain a strong attendance record
  • Experience processing AP and AR invoices
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently or without much supervision
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within given deadlines
