Accounting Clerk

One of our clients is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to assist with the maintenance of their financial records. This temp to perm position offers an ideal career by providing its’ employees with a friendly and laid-back office environment with an opportunity for growth! The qualified candidate will have light accounting and office experience. 

The Accounting Clerk Job responsibilities include:

  • Matching 150+ invoices weekly
  • Cutting checks
  • Balancing the cash register
  • General ledger account analysis and subsidiary ledger reconciliation (AP and AR)
  • Entering in data in their software system
  • Assisting the Accounting Manager with any accounting projects as needed
  • Helping the Accounting Manager with filing and organizing the work
  • The Accounting Clerk Qualifications include:

  • Experience processing a high volume of invoices
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently or without much supervision
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within given deadlines
