Accounting Principals is recruiting for a contract to hire Accounting Clerk for our client located on the east side of Indianapolis. This newly created role will work closely with the Operations Manager and the rest of the accounting team. This individual will be responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable in addition to some administrative support. Our client is looking for an outgoing and driven accounting professional to join their growing team as soon as possible! Compensation for this contract to hire role begins at $18/HR.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Record journal entries, accruals, etc. as applicable
  • Generate 1099's and W-2's
  • Assist with other accounting projects as necessary
  • Administrative support such as filing, answering phones, etc..
  • Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of prior accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, preferred
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
