Accounting Principals is seeking an Accounting Clerk who can immediately start working on 3-4-month temporary position located in Brea, CA. Qualified candidates should have at one year of prior accounts payable and accounts receivable experience and ability to work onsite.
Job Duties:
Match and code vendor invoices
Get invoices to managers for approval
Scanning and file invoices
Timely posting of cash, credit card, ACH payments
Review status of customer accounts and contact customers on past due amounts
Research discrepancies, short payments and misapplied funds
Experience:
1+ years of experience with accounts payable & accounts receivable
Manufacturing or Distribution industry experience preferred
Proficient in MS Excel
Hands on experience working with an ERP software
Skills:
Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Work independently and produce quality work within assigned timelines
Attention to detail and strong organization skills
Employment Type: Temporary, 3-4 months
Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Work Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday
