Accounting Principals is actively recruiting for an Accounting Clerk for our client, an established retail company located in Tempe, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable company that offers growth and a fun, family oriented work environment.
This position will include processing accounts payable invoices, reconciling accounts and posting customer payments. The right candidate should have at least 6 months of accounting experience as well as strong data entry skills. You should also be able to communicate and multitask effectively.

Process accounts payable invoices by matching to supporting documents and coding accurately
Assist with billing
Post customer payments against unpaid invoices
Create bank deposits
Handle monthly reconciliations
Communicate with vendors and customers as needed
At least 6 months of accounting experience
Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment
Ability to think critically and problem solve
Must have strong data entry skills
Strong communication skills
Location - Tempe, AZ (must be local)
Full Time - Monday-Friday work hours
Contract-to-hire / Permanent
