Accounting Principals is currently seeking a self-motivated and talented person to work with a client in Phoenix as an Accounting Clerk. This position offers an individual the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your professional skills with one of the top companies in the state!
The ideal candidate is someone that is motivated and interested in learning new skills while being quick learning and adaptable themselves.
Prepare, Code, and Enter Invoices and Purchase Orders
Follow up with vendors and customers to gather payment information
Post payments, cut checks, and enter ACH information
Aid in Month-end close and reconciliations
Assist the Accounting department as necessary
Exposure to Accounting, Inventory, or Cash Balancing Skills:
Good communicator in verbal and written form Experience:
1 Year in an Office environment Or • 2-3 Years working with inventory in a retail environment
Job Type: • Full time, Contract-to-Hire Hours:
40 Hours per week, Monday - Friday
