Accounting Principals has partnered with an essential business to align them with an Accounting Clerk to assist in payables and receivables at their corporate location in Tinley Park.
Enter, code and process accounts payable invoices weekly
Apply cash, lockbox payments and ACH to customer accounts
Follow up on past due invoices with customers or resolve billing disputes
Create and send invoices to customers
Some light accounting, journal entries or bank reconciliations
General office duties surrounding email correspondence, filing invoices, scanning bills, backing-up staff when needed, etc.
2+ years' experience in accounting
Would also consider new-graduates with associates or bachelors degrees from 2018, 2019 or 2020
QuickBooks and Excel experience
Ready to learn, grow, and take on more responsibilities with a small and growing company
