One of our clients is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to support the financial team in completing accounting processes for the company. This temp to perm position offers an ideal career by providing its’ employees with a friendly and laid-back office environment with an opportunity for growth. The qualified candidate will have experience in both accounts payable and receivable. Pay is up to $40,000 annually.

The Accounting Clerk Job responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Processing invoices for payment
  • Verifying and posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • General ledger account analysis and subsidiary ledger reconciliation (AP and AR)
  • Assist Staff Accountant and Controller with accounting projects as needed
  •  

    The Accounting Clerk Qualifications include:

  • Experience processing a high volume of invoices
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel
  • Basic understanding of QuickBooks
  • Strong customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within given deadlines
  •
