Responsibilities of this Construction Accounting Clerk job include:

  • Verify and enter invoices from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Resolve invoice and statement discrepancies
  • Reconcile accounts payable with monthly invoices and monitor aging
  • Enter payments and reconcile liabilities
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Collect subcontractor releases
  • Set up and reconcile stocked warehouse material

    Minimum qualifications:

  • 1-2 years accounting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Attentive to detail, organized, and good at prioritizing
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Driven to improve processes and increase efficiency
  • Experience with construction accounting
